🚀 Data Analyst – Separation & Transition Focus | Contract | £500+/day Outside IR35 SmartCo is expanding its data practice and is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team on a series of high-impact programmes across multiple clients, including organisations in the consumer goods, financial services, and infrastructure sectors. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, transformation-heavy environments and can bring structure to complex, often ambiguous data challenges. You’ll be supporting separation and transition initiatives where data accuracy, stakeholder alignment, and insight-driven decisions are critical. Key Responsibilities: • Analyse and interpret large volumes of unstructured contract and sourcing data, identifying key terms (e.g. assignment rights, SLAs, termination clauses). • Collaborate with legal, procurement, and delivery teams to extract, validate, and structure key metadata. • Support the cleansing, consolidation, and transition of data for use in new platforms or separation processes. • Build Power BI dashboards and reports to track progress and drive decision-making across programmes. • Contribute to the development of data transition roadmaps, ensuring consistency, traceability, and stakeholder clarity. What We’re Looking For: • Proven experience in data analysis roles within M&A, separation, or divestment environments. • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills — able to navigate across business, legal, and technical teams. • Technical skills in Python and Power BI for analysis and visualisation. • Comfortable working with contractual or sourcing data; experience in interpreting legal terms a plus. • Experience with LeanIX or similar enterprise architecture tooling is beneficial. • Structured, methodical, and able to drive clarity in ambiguity.
