Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 3 months initially
Day Rate: £350-500
Working Style: Remote UK
Please note: We use banding codes (e.g., C1, C2, C3, S1, S2…) to reflect different levels of experience and competency within each job title. These bands range from 1 to 3, with higher numbers indicating more senior roles. While the job title remains the same, the responsibilities and expectations vary by band, so we encourage candidates to read the role description carefully and apply for the banding that best aligns with their experience and career stage.
A few application tips…
We want to help you put your best foot forward. Here are a few things we look for:
• Clear, specific examples of your work and impact
• Relevant experience aligned with the role’s focus
• A thoughtful response to any application questions
• A resume that highlights both what you did and why it mattered
If you’re unsure whether your background is the “perfect fit,” we still encourage you to apply. We value potential and growth just as much as experience.
Why this role exists…
We are looking to expand our team of Data Analysts to support a leading wealth management client with the expansion of their data driven reporting capabilities.
As the company continues to scale, the demand for accurate and well‑structured data is growing, and the delivery teams need senior data specialists who can provide clarity, structure, and technical leadership from day one.
What you'll be doing...
You’ll play a central role in shaping, understanding, and mapping the data that underpins client reporting. Working closely with Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Data Engineers and QA, you’ll ensure that data is correctly structured, understood, and ready for downstream reporting and analytics.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Owning and maintaining data mapping documentation across multiple data sources
• Translating business needs into clear, technically accurate data requirements
• Acting as the technical point of contact for all data‑related queries within your Scrum team
• Collaborating with data engineers to structure, validate, and model data for reporting
• Ensuring data accuracy, integrity and consistency across the new data platform
• Supporting the build of new data structures, schemas, and analytical layers
In your first 3–6 months, success might look like:
• Delivering accurate, complete data mapping documentation used across the project
• Building strong working relationships with engineers, architects, and product leads
• Ensuring early reporting prototypes receive correct, well‑structured datasets
• Becoming a trusted subject matter expert for data quality, structure, and lineage
What you'll need to succeed...
We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of experience, curiosity, and collaboration.
You might be a great fit if you have:
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience in data mapping, data structuring, and schema documentation
• Proficiency in Snowflake and SQL
• Experience supporting engineering teams and enabling them with high‑quality data
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, establish clarity, and work independently as a senior contributor
• Confidence engaging with stakeholders to understand data needs and validate accuracy
• A background within financial services (this is a nice to have and not a strict requirement)
This role might not be the right fit if you’re looking for:
• A traditional Business Analyst position (this role is highly technical)
• A slow‑paced or heavily guided environment—this role requires autonomy and senior ownership
• A role without stakeholder interaction or cross‑team collaboration
