Role description
Data Analyst - £600 per day (Inside IR35) - London (2 days onsite) A leading global organisation is seeking a Data Analyst to support enterprise-wide data and analytics initiatives. The role partners closely with Product, Project, and business teams across multiple regions to translate data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making. Role Overview The Senior Data Analyst plays a critical role in interpreting complex data, defining performance measures, and improving data quality and governance. Acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, the role ensures data solutions are scalable, well-governed, and aligned with organisational objectives. Key Accountabilities • Engage with global stakeholders to understand business needs and convert them into data and analytical requirements • Analyse, structure, and model data to support reporting, insights, and strategic initiatives • Lead data quality and governance activities, including profiling, cleansing, mapping, and lineage management using Collibra • Contribute to the design and evolution of reporting and business intelligence capabilities • Investigate data issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend viable solution options • Support solution validation by defining acceptance criteria and participating in testing activities • Communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders Essential Experience & Skills • Advanced expertise in data analysis methodologies and techniques • Strong experience in data quality management and data governance • Hands-on experience with Collibra (certification preferred) • Proven data modelling capability • Experience across data design, ingestion, and integration • Ability to work with complex and unstructured datasets • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Additional Experience (Advantageous) • Experience leading or mentoring small teams • Background working in multinational or globally distributed environments • Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control, and CI/CD pipelines • Exposure to modern BI and analytics platforms
