Role description
12 Month Fixed-Term Contract • Help shape insight during a period of change, with real influence across the business. • High impact role supporting data integration and senior decision making. • Hybrid working with three days a week in a Bristol office. This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity to step into a business going through change and make sense of complex data when it matters most. If you enjoy owning analysis, working closely with senior stakeholders and turning messy information into clear stories, this Senior Data Analyst role is for you! What you’ll be doing You’ll be working alongside data science, engineering and BI teams, reporting into the Data Science Lead. Your focus will be on creating clear, consistent and trusted reporting across legacy and newly integrated systems. This is a hands on, delivery focused Senior Data Analyst position where your work will directly support confident business decisions. You’ll lead analytical work to align and compare data across multiple systems, helping the business get a single source of the truth. You’ll build and maintain dashboards in Tableau, ensuring reporting is clear, consistent and reliable. You’ll work with large datasets using tools like Databricks, partnering closely with data engineering and BI teams to support integration and reporting solutions. You’ll deliver KPI reporting, ad hoc analysis, data quality and statistical insight that supports business as usual during change. A big part of the role is communication. You’ll work with senior stakeholders, understand what they need, and translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations. What experience you’ll need to apply • Several years of experience in a Senior Data Analyst role • Strong SQL skills and experience using Python • Hands-on Tableau experience • Ideally experience working with Databricks or Snowflake • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and presenting insights • Experience combining data from multiple systems and ensuring data quality • Strong communication skills and the ability to tell clear stories with data • Experience supporting change, transformation or integration is a bonus What you’ll get in return for your experience You’ll receive a salary of up to £65,000 (DOE), plus a comprehensive benefits package.
