Senior Data Engineer

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid 3 days onsite and 2 days remote) Duration: 10 months+ contract Responsibilities • Design and implement robust data pipelines on Azure to ensure efficient data flow and processing • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions • Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance, ensuring high availability and reliability • Ensure data governance and quality standards are met, utilizing tools like Collibra • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, architecture, and best practices Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications in Azure Data Engineering are preferred • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Azure technologies • Mandatory skills include Azure Data Engineering experience, programming knowledge in Python or Java, and proficiency in Snowflake • Familiarity with Spark and Linux management is essential • This position requires 3 days onsite in NYC and allows for remote work for the remaining days.
