Senior Data Engineer | Global Financial Services Firm – Hybrid NYC We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a leading financial services client in New York City (5 Times Square). This hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 remote). ideal for a data professional ready to make a high-impact contribution to enterprise-scale data systems. What You’ll Do: • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes within the Azure ecosystem • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions • Apply and enforce data governance and quality standards, leveraging tools such as Collibra • Manage data ingestion, transformation, and integration from diverse sources • Optimize data pipeline performance for efficiency, reliability, and scalability • Implement data quality frameworks and support continuous improvement initiatives • Document system architectures, workflows, and engineering best practices What You Bring: • 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering • Proven expertise in Azure Data Engineering and scalable pipeline development • Proficiency in Python or Java for data processing and automation • Advanced knowledge of Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics • Strong understanding of Data Quality and Data Governance concepts • Hands-on experience with Collibra or similar governance tools • Familiarity with Spark and Linux environments • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Top performers thrive in collaborative, data-driven environments—bringing innovation, precision, and a passion for building reliable, high-performance data systems. 📍 Location: New York City, New York (Hybrid) 💵 Pay: $65 – $70/hour on w2 If you have an interest in the Senior Data Engineer, please apply now!
