Primary Responsibilities:
• Analyze, review, and forecast complex data trends, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
• Develop and implement strategic business solutions through data-driven research and process analysis.
• Support short- and long-term operational strategies through data analytics and visualization.
• Design and execute SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and reporting.
• Facilitate project requirements meetings with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Create and maintain business specifications, test plans, work breakdown structures, and traceability matrices.
• Manage status updates, action items, risk/issues logs, and defect tracking.
• Support Data Warehouse operations, including ETL processes and cloud-based data management.
• Identify process gaps and recommend automation or AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency.
• Present data-driven insights and solutions effectively to project teams and clients.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT business analysis and/or data analytics, including requirements gathering and data modeling.
• 3+ years of experience developing SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and preferred experience using JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts and leading cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Healthcare domain experience, particularly in Medicaid/Medicare analytics.
• ETL / Data Warehousing background, including modern cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with AI/ML-driven analytics for predictive modeling.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data analysis.
• Familiarity with API integrations for data exchange.
• Experience with SharePoint, MS Project, and workflow automation tools.
