Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize reliable data solutions across our SQL, ETL, BI, and machine‑learning platforms. This role develops high‑performance SQL Server and Oracle database objects; builds and maintains ETL/ELT pipelines; designs enterprise data models; and delivers analytical capabilities through Power BI.
You will partner with analytics, data science, and application teams to operationalize ML models, support cloud/hybrid modernization initiatives, and ensure data quality, performance, and scalability. The role operates within a collaborative Agile Scrum team focused on delivering business value and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Develop advanced SQL (T‑SQL/PLSQL), database models, and performance‑optimized stored procedures.
• Build and support ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and dimensional models.
• Design Power BI datasets, DAX calculations, and optimized reports with RLS and governance best practices.
• Enable machine‑learning solutions through feature tables, scoring pipelines, and ML-integrated dashboards.
• Support database/application modernization, migration, validation, and cutover planning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.
Qualifications:
• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, Oracle, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Advanced Power BI expertise (DAX, M, performance tuning, RLS).
• Experience operationalizing ML outputs or integrating predictive analytics.
• Background in Agile/Scrum teamwork and iterative delivery.
