Senior Data Engineer

Immediate need for a talented Senior Data Engineer. This is a 12 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Westlake, TX/Merrimack, NH(Hybrid). Key Requirements and Technology Experience: • Key Skills; ETL, SQL, PL/SQL, Informatica, Snowflake, Data modeling, DevOps . • 7 years of experience in developing quality data solution • Software development experience in the Financial Industry • Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, SQL Scripting, and database performance tuning. • Intermediate experience in Java development is preferred • Solid understanding of ETL tools like Informatica and Data Warehousing like Snowflake. • You enjoy learning new technologies, analyzing data, identifying gaps, issues, patterns, and building solutions • You can independently analyze technical challenges, identify, assess impact, and identify innovative solutions • Strong data modeling skills using Quantitative and Multidimensional Analysis • Demonstrate understanding of data design concepts - Transactional, Data Mart, Data Warehouse, etc. • Beginner proficiency of in Python, REST API and AWS is a plus • You are passionate about delivering high-quality software using DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, Git, Docker) practices! • Experience developing software using Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills Our client is a leading Financial Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
