Senior Data Engineer - Databricks

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer - Databricks. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks and other Azure services • Implement data storage solutions leveraging Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage • Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to automate deployment and configuration of Databricks and Azure resources • Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and implement proactive solutions • Contribute to the architecture and strategy for enterprise AI data platforms • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions Requirements • Proven expertise with Azure Databricks and data processing frameworks • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data pipeline design • Experience with SQL, Python, and Spark • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Effective communication and teamwork abilities • AI/ML knowledge is nice to have Experience With • Data Warehousing • Data Pipeline Design • Terraform • CI/CD automation - familiar with Github Actions The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
