We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, Databricks, Spark, Python, and Snowflake to support enterprise data initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience in financial services and can design, optimize, and maintain large-scale data systems while ensuring data quality, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design and implement database management systems, standards, and guidelines.
β’ Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data models.
β’ Build reports, dashboards, and user-facing data solutions.
β’ Ensure data quality, security, and governance across platforms.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt business requirements into technical solutions.
β’ Optimize performance for large-scale data storage and relational models.
β’ Participate in quality assurance, testing, and performance tuning of data applications.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
β’ 8+ years of experience in data engineering (finance industry experience preferred).
β’ Advanced proficiency in SQL (must have strong hands-on expertise).
β’ Skilled in Databricks, Spark, Python, and Snowflake.
β’ Strong knowledge of data modeling, relational databases, and ETL processes.
β’ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
