Role description
Lead Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric
Contract: Initially 3 months, probably 6 months
Location: Hybrid - Bristol 2 / 3 days per week
Rate: Circa £600 per day
Contract Status: INSIDE IR35 - (You will work via an Umbrella Service Company)
Data Engineer required to design, build and deliver a new MS Fabric Data Warehouse / Environment, allowing other team members to build Power BI dashboards, facilitating data-led decisions for our client, a global market leading company.
You will lead the delivery by firstly gathering requirements with stakeholders then designing, developing and delivering a fully configured and secured MS Fabric environment, clearly document your implementation and deliver knowledge transfer to the existing team enabling them to take on support and further development.
ABOUT YOU:
MS Fabric experience is not necessary if you have significant experience in the following:
• Significant Data Engineering experience
• Requirements gathering leading to tailored data warehouse build
• Designing, building, testing and delivering data warehouses for large, complex organisations (not necessarily MS Fabric)
• Excellent communication skills
• Successful knowledge transfer to internal teams
You need to be available to start within 2 weeks.
