Role description
Role: Senior Data Engineer- GCP Location: Remote Duration: 18+ Months Contract Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in GCP to support the design, development, and execution of data migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable and reliable data pipelines, implementing CI/CD processes, and ensuring high data quality and integrity across systems. You will play a key role in migrating data from legacy platforms to modern cloud-based architectures, optimizing performance, and enabling seamless data access for analytics and business operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver efficient, secure, and scalable data solutions aligned with business objectives. Mandatory Skills: • Strong experience in Data Engineering • Hands-on experience with GCP services (such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage) • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for data workflows Preferred Skills: • Experience with Data Migration projects, especially to cloud platforms • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and performance optimization • Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or similar
