Role description
The client is looking for Senior Data Engineer with Strong Snowflake experience and also someone who worked in the past with Prior Exxon Mobil experience is a mandatory
Role & Responsibility
• Design, develop, and deploy Snowflake data objects including schemas, tables,
views, streams, tasks, and stored procedures to support enterprise data
modernization initiatives.
• Build and implement Data Products aligned with Data Mesh principles, including
metadata management, data lineage, discoverability, governance, and Service
Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Migrate and re-engineer legacy MSSQL and SSIS-based data marts,
integrations, and pipelines into Snowflake-native solutions.
• Develop scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake and dbt to support domain-
driven data architectures.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through warehouse sizing, clustering
strategies, query tuning, storage optimization, and cost management best
practices.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate transformation logic
and business requirements into modern cloud-based data solutions.
• Assess and modernize existing SSIS packages, converting them into Snowflake-
native orchestration and processing frameworks.
• Implement data quality controls, validation processes, and monitoring to ensure
reliability and accuracy of Data Products.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, metadata definitions, lineage
information, and operational procedures for all delivered data assets.
• Support CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps and Git, following enterprise
development and deployment standards.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data governance, documentation,
and data management standards.
