We sponsor Visa What You’ll Bring: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science & Analytics, or related field • 7-10  years of hands-on experience in software development experience, Java, Angular, Node.js and/or JavaScript, Python, microservices, REST APIs, data engineering, SQL, Informatica, PostgreSQL or Oracle, AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation, EventBridge, SQS), and event driven architecture. • Expertise in SQL, particularly with relational databases like Postgres and Oracle • Proven experience designing and working with event-driven architectures, including AWS SQS, Apache Kafka, and ActiveMQ • Strong proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, and API Gateway • Familiarity with ETL tools, preferably Informatica, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation • Nice to Have Skills: • Experience with microservices and RESTful API design • Knowledge of AWS EventBridge, message routing, retries, error handling, and durability • Hands-on experience with serverless environments and automation tools • Domain knowledge of insurance operations such as underwriting, policy administration, or claims processing Preferred Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant technical fields • 5+ years proven success in data engineering—preferably within finance, insurance, or related industries Estimated Min Rate: $49.00 Estimated Max Rate: $70.00 What’s In It for You?
