Senior Data Engineer (Hybrid Only USC-GC on W2)

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Client Location: Memphis, TN (Hybrid) Duration: Long Term Only USC/ GC on W2 Job Description What will I be doing? As the Senior Data Engineer – United States, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: • Understand the Project requirements to support New/existing systems/work in the data ecosystem • Organize the necessary work, identify what data is needed, and understand the design/Solution • Understand the nuance of client’s data and the existing technical landscape (both across the enterprise and in legacy data artifacts) to understand implications for new project architectures and analytical reporting • Hand-on experience and gain alignment on the information and artifacts with data and business teams in Martech • Keep a pulse on projects during the implementation phase and surface status and risks/issues to respective Sr, Lead/Lead • Work with internal partners such as Business, Product, Technology, Analytics • Provide support to our internal data teams by understanding clearly defined work, proactively getting ahead of risks and issues, aligning across the broader data organization, and keeping lines of communication open • Understand detail requirements for new business projects for the Hilton Data organization and develop the solutions and deliver on these projects. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of work experience in Technology or a related field. • 3+ years of Hand-on experience in Data, including data quality, ETL and maintenance • 3+ years Hand-on experience in Talend, Glue and Lambda • 3+ experience in CDW and RedShift, Snowflake etc • 3+years of Hand-on experience with Cloud, hybrid environments, and data platforms • Exposure in AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud is Plus • Customer facing industry experience • Travel/Hospitality industry experience is a strong plus
