Role Overview:
As a Senior Data Engineer III, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable data management systems while ensuring they align with business needs and industry standards. The role involves researching innovative methods for data acquisition and utilizing modern technologies to drive data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, install, and maintain data management systems
Ensure systems comply with business objectives and industry best practices
Integrate emerging data and software engineering tools into existing frameworks
Develop processes for data mining, modeling, and production
Build custom software components and analytical tools
Discover new applications for existing data
Utilize various tools and programming languages to interconnect systems
Work closely with cross-functional teams such as IT, data architects, and data scientists
Implement and maintain disaster recovery procedures
Continuously recommend improvements to enhance data quality and reliability
Qualifications:
Degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience
Experience with both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, MongoDB)
Proficient in:
Advanced SQL
DBT
Snowflake
Data Analysis
Experience working in Agile development environments
