Role description
I am looking for a "Data Detective" to partner with on high-level industrial consulting engagements. We help manufacturing plants determine if they are ready for AI.
The Role: I handle the client strategy and delivery. You handle the "Data X-Ray." You will take raw exports (ERP dumps, SCADA logs, messy CSVs) and mathematically prove the quality gaps.
Responsibilities:
Ingest & Profile: Take raw datasets (Production logs, Maintenance records) and run profiling scripts (Pandas/YData) to identify nulls, duplicates, and format errors.
The "Linkage" Test: Verify if their "Part Numbers" and "Asset IDs" match across different systems (ERP vs. MES).
Visualization: Create simple "Data Health" visuals (PowerBI or Python libraries) that show the client exactly where their data is broken.
The Verdict: Provide a technical summary of "Remediation Steps" required before they can train an ML model.
The Stack:
Python (Pandas, YData Profiling, Sweetviz).
OpenRefine (for clustering analysis).
SQL.
Bonus: Experience with industrial data (PLCs, SAP, Maximo).
The Commitment:
Project-based (approx. 10-15 hours per audit).
Remote / Asynchronous.
Competitive Flat Fee per project.
To Apply: DM me with "DATA" and one example of a time you cleaned a messy dataset.
