Data Engineer (Snowflake / DBT / DataStage)
Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Data Engineer to join one of our financial services clients. This is an exciting opportunity to help design and build enterprise-scale data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives across the organization.
In this role, you'll work with modern data engineering technologies to improve data quality, accessibility, and performance while partnering closely with architects, analysts, and technology teams. What You'll Do
• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise data pipelines and integration processes.
• Build and support scalable data models and ETL workflows using Snowflake, DBT, and DataStage.
• Partner with data architects, analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Support enterprise business intelligence and analytics initiatives by ensuring accurate and accessible data.
• Improve data quality, reliability, governance, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the organization's data platform and processes.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize data workflows for scalability and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
• Strong background in Data Engineering and Business Intelligence environments.
• Hands-on experience using DBT (Data Build Tool) for the development, maintenance, and optimization of data models.
• Experience designing and supporting ETL processes with DataStage or similar enterprise data integration tools.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with technologies such as:
• SQL / MySQL
• NoSQL Databases
• MongoDB
• Hadoop
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within Mortgage Lending environments.
• Knowledge of HELOC (Home Equity Line of Credit) products.
• Experience working with Encompass.
• Experience in a SAFe Agile environment.
