Senior Data Engineer (OBIEE/Informatica/PL/SQL)

Rate: $70-$78/hour w-2 Hybrid | Westlake, TX Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Principal Data Engineer to work on a long-term contract position in Westlake, TX. This position is hybrid, onsite two weeks a month; candidates must be local to the Westlake, TX metro area. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W-2 basis. Responsibilities of the Senior Data Engineer (OBIEE/Informatica) • Design and develop data engineering solutions and platforms for cloud-based analytics. • Build scalable data pipelines and integrate data from cloud and on-premises sources. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize data warehouse and BI solutions. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to agile project delivery. • Lead data integration strategies for business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs. Requirements for the Senior Data Engineer (OBIEE/Informatica) • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics technologies • OBIEE • Informatica (client will accept strong Python skills in lieu of Informatica) • PL/SQL • Oracle database - performance tuning (SQL tuning advisor, integrate an Oracle tuning plan, etc.) and development Preferred Skills: • Python • Oracle BI tools Education: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
