Senior Data Engineer (ODI-PL/SQL )- Only W2 and Locals

US Citizens and Green card holders would be considered only on W2. Local to St.Pete candidates only for Hybrid work As part of the team, has primary responsibility of building Enterprise Data Integration solutions by analyzing and extracting data from various sources to generate data feeds to external entities. The Data Engineer will be responsible for building solutions which are flexible, performant and scalable. Works closely with Solution Architects to build ETL Data flows and design patterns. Demonstrates subject matter expertise and is able to integrate domain knowledge with an understanding of overall strategy and impact. Is the primary on the most complex or escalated issues and may provide direction, guidance and mentoring team members. Applies specialized business knowledge and technical skills to significant deliverables and projects that involve multiple IT departments, business units and have enterprise impact. Skills: Builds scalable and reliable ETL systems to pull large and complex data together from different systems efficiently. • Works with Solution Architects to develop ETL/Data Integration/Data Processing Flows. • Collaborates with other Data Engineers and Data Architects to build optimal and efficient ETL and Database code. • Supports ETL Batch processing. • Provides on-call support of Data Integration Batch processes on a rotating basis and other on-call as required. Hands-on experience of the following: Oracle as a Database Platform. • PL/SQL and ODI expertise. • Data warehousing concepts. • Data Integration patterns/technologies. • ETL concepts and building ETL solutions • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education: BS Degree or Equivalent Experience NOTES from Hiring Manager: role is for local only for hybrid work style minimum two days a week onsite. role has a chance to convert to FTE based on performance. FS domain knowledge and understanding is desired (equities, fixed income, trading) as well as Financial reporting experience need strong Oracle/PL/SQL RDBMS and ODI ETL expwerience, heavy Oracle coding is involved along with Data Analaysis Wed services is a plus will be connecting to REST calls so Java understanding is a value add along with DB connectivity Will be pulling data from many soucres including SQL Server, need to understand difference between T-SQL and PL/SQL
