Senior Data Engineer - Part Time Contract

Senior Data Engineer Up to £650 p/d (Inside IR35) Part time contract requiring 2 day per week (1 day onsite in Central London location) Public facing, household name, critical national infrastructure organisation are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in modern data engineering practices and technologies. This is a part-time contract role requiring 2 days a week for a period of 6 months. It is a great opportunity to work on challenging, large-scale data projects and deliver real business value. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using modern data engineering best practices • Hands-on development with ETL/ELT processes, data lake architectures, and ideally Medallion architecture principles • Strong experience AWS data services (S3, Glue, and Athena) • Proficient in Git for source control and release management • Contribute to solution design discussions, including data consumption and reporting layers Nice to have: • Front-end or reporting/visualisation experience to help bridge the gap between data engineering and end-user needs • Experience with SnapLogic You’ll be working with cutting-edge tools in a collaborative environment, helping shape scalable and efficient data platforms.
