Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks
Engineer clean, normalized datasets for reporting, analytics, and operational systems
Combine structured and unstructured data from diverse sources into machine-readable formats
Model data in relational and NoSQL systems to meet application and analytics needs
Use tools like Spark, Hive, and Airflow for data processing and orchestration
Develop architecture diagrams, support CI/CD pipelines, and manage infrastructure as code
Ensure data security and compliance using tools like Azure Key Vault, CyberArk
Work in Agile/DevOps teams alongside data scientists, analysts, and developers
Required Skills:
10+ years in data engineering/software engineering with a data focus
Strong in SQL, data modeling, and data normalization
Experience with Azure cloud, big data tools (Spark/Hive), and workflow tools (Airflow, Autosys, SSIS)
Proficient in PowerShell scripting and handling structured/unstructured data
Experience in regulated industries (utilities/energy preferred)
