Role description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer / AI Enablement Specialist to bridge the gap between core enterprise data infrastructure and modern AI applications. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, transforming, and validating large-scale enterprise datasets across platforms like Snowflake, Palantir, and Databricks, ensuring our data is robust, secure, and fully optimized to power AI agents (such as Microsoft Copilot Studio), analytics, and automated workflows. Key Responsibilities: • Enterprise Data Engineering: Source, join, transform, validate, and document large-scale data pipelines across enterprise platforms including Snowflake, Palantir, and Databricks. • Data Quality & Troubleshooting: Investigate data discrepancies, missing values, duplicates, mapping errors, and transformation failures, implementing sustainable, long-term remediation strategies. • Requirements Mapping: Translate business needs and objectives into precise source-to-target mappings, technical specifications, data models, and validation criteria. • AI & Agent Data Enablement: Prepare trusted, structured, and business-ready datasets specifically optimized for Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Copilot, Databricks AI/BI, dashboards, and workflow automation. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the bridge between technical developers, data owners, platform teams, and non-technical business stakeholders, clearly communicating complex data concepts. Qualifications & Requirements: • 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data operations. • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with cloud data warehouses and platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Palantir Foundry). • Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis, data quality troubleshooting, and pipeline monitoring. • Experience translating business requirements into technical data models and data mapping specifications. • Familiarity with preparing data for AI applications, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or business intelligence dashboards. • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical details to diverse audiences.
