Lead Data Engineer (Databricks)
We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with 8–10+ years of experience to help drive the evolution of our enterprise data platform, with a strong emphasis on Databricks and Lakehouse architecture. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on designing and optimizing data pipelines, building scalable data solutions, and supporting analytics and AI initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and modern cloud data platforms, along with experience supporting Power BI reporting and analytics. In addition to hands-on engineering work, this role will mentor data engineers, establish best practices, and provide strategic and technical guidance to leadership.
Key Qualifications:
• 8–10+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, Spark, SQL, and Delta Lake
• Experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines and Lakehouse architectures
• Understanding of Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
• Experience supporting Power BI datasets and reporting solutions
• Proven ability to mentor team members and lead technical initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
