Senior Data Engineer

Role : Senior Data Engineer – Location : London, UK Work Mode : Hybrid We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team that’s responsible for engineering solutions for distributing and making data available across the whole of the organisation. Your core interests should include data modelling and data warehouse work and you should have a thorough understanding of data engineering principles. You can solve data problems and communicate your ideas to your colleagues effectively and clearly. When you join us, you’ll be working with some of the industry leading data technologies and will be given the opportunity to develop your expertise in these as well as your broader career. You should have: • Experience with cloud database platforms, e.g. Azure SQL Database, Snowflake etc, or on-prem database platforms like • Experience working with Azure Data Factory (ADF). • Experience with data modelling. • Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders including product owners, delivery managers and architects. • Experience with performance tuning and relational database design particularly in the development of business intelligence solutions. • Experience with data migration strategies from on premise to cloud. • Experience with Data Warehouse concepts. • Experience of communicating and documenting technical design proposals. • Experience with DataOps, automating the promotion and release of data engineering artefacts, automating testing and pipeline optimisation. • Experience with data masking policies, GDPR, auditing access and securing sensitive data sets.
