Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in New York, NY. This position requires 3 days onsite in NYC and allows for remote work for the remaining days. Responsibilities: • Design and implement robust data pipelines on Azure to ensure efficient data flow and processing • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions • Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance, ensuring high availability and reliability • Ensure data governance and quality standards are met, utilizing tools like Collibra • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, architecture, and best practices Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Relevant certifications in Azure Data Engineering are preferred • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Azure technologies • Mandatory skills include Azure Data Engineering experience, programming knowledge in Python or Java, proficiency in Snowflake, and Data Quality and Governance • Familiarity with Spark and Linux management is essential The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
