Role description
Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake / Azure / Fabric) – Contract – Edinburgh / Hybrid x 2 roles available Evolve IT is supporting a leading investment management organisation in their search for a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing Data Engineering function on a contract basis. Working within a modern cloud data environment, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and optimising data pipelines and data products that support reporting, analytics, and wider business decision-making. The Role You'll be responsible for: • Designing and developing scalable data pipelines and data products • Working across Snowflake, Azure, dbt, and Microsoft Fabric • Supporting data integration, transformation, and modelling activities • Driving automation, testing, monitoring, and data quality improvements • Collaborating with Data Analysts, Architects, and Platform teams on key delivery initiatives • Providing technical leadership across more complex data engineering workstreams About You We're keen to speak with contractors who have strong experience across: • Snowflake • Microsoft Azure • dbt • Microsoft Fabric • ETL/ELT pipeline development • Data modelling and transformation • CI/CD and automation practices • Experience with Alteryx and/or Oracle databases would be advantageous.
