Position: Databricks Engineer
Location: Dallas, Texas (On-site)
Tax Term: Only W2 - No C2C
Industry Domain: Insurance (domain knowledge not mandatory)
Start Model: Hybrid initially leading to full on-site
Duration: Long-term
Mandatory Skills & Experience
• 7+ years total IT experience in Data Engineering
• Strong expertise with Azure Databricks
• Cloud data engineering with Azure or AWS
• Data modeling fundamentals:
• Entity–relationship design
• Structured, semi-structured, and real-time data
• Strong ETL / ELT pipeline development experience
• Must understand data end-to-end → ingestion → transformation → consumption
• Python and SQL proficiency
• Must understand data architecture basics (not just tool usage)
Soft Skills & Professional Expectations
• Strong communication & ability to explain data concepts
• Ability to interact confidently with customer stakeholders
• Professional presentation standards (punctuality, behavior)
• Must be able to work independently on-site
• Certifications required/preferred:
• Azure Data Engineer Associate OR
