Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid) Job Type: Contract Job Description: Is industry experience needed for this role and why? Yes, we need resource with Snowflake, AWS and Python skill, minimum 4+ years of experience. This is direct client facing role • Snowflake implementation experience • Good AWS & Python Skills • ETL development Skills • Expert SQL and dimensional data modeling • Enterprise data foundation design and data ingestion pipeline architecture • Experience in Health Payer or Healthcare domain • Agile delivery management including sprint planning and milestone tracking Responsibilities : • Understand and enforce current architecture, design standards, and ETL best practices across the program. • Lead design sessions with client SMEs. • Contribute hands-on to ETL builds, data modeling, and Snowflake development; review and approve all code prior to environment promotion. • Own delivery management including scope breakdown, milestone tracking, and risk and dependency management. • Manage a cross-functional team of engineers, analysts, and QA resources. • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client leads; lead status meetings, milestone readouts, and scope discussions. • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and obtain client sign-off prior to environment promotion. • Build reusable frameworks and contribute to automation assessments with client-approved recommendations.
