Job Title: Sr Data Engineer
Location: Frisco, TX 75034
Duration: 12 Months
Work Type: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Data Engineering
• Own full lifecycle delivery of enterprise HR analytics data products: Ingestion, Modeling, Transformation, Semantic layer, BI visualization
• Work directly with HR business stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions
Databricks & Snowflake Engineering
• Build production-grade pipelines using: Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, Snowflake, Iceberg tables
• Apply Medallion Architecture: Bronze, Silver, Gold
Microsoft Fabric & Power BI
• Design and implement: Microsoft Fabric semantic models, OneLake-backed certified datasets, Fabric IQ semantic layers
• Build Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions
Data Modeling & Governance
• Design: Conceptual models, Logical models, Physical models
• Define: Data contracts, SLAs, Source-to-target mappings, Data lineage
• Support enterprise business glossary alignment
DevOps & Reliability
• Implement: CI/CD, Automated testing, Monitoring, SLA alerting, KTLO support
• Participate in DevOps/on-call ownership model
Must Haves
• 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
• Strong experience designing enterprise-scale data products end-to-end
• Expert-level skills in: SQL, Python, PySpark, Spark SQL
• Strong hands-on experience with: Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflow orchestration
• Strong production Snowflake experience: Iceberg tables, Modern open table formats
• Strong Microsoft Fabric experience: OneLake, Fabric IQ, Semantic layer design
• Strong Power BI experience: Semantic modeling, Certified datasets, Executive reporting
• Strong experience with: Data modeling, ETL/ELT, Data quality frameworks, CI/CD
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
