Join our dynamic team as a Senior Data Governance Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity and compliance. This fully remote position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive impactful data governance initiatives.
Responsibilities
β’ Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of data governance program deliverables.
β’ Evaluate and challenge remediation plans to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
β’ Verify and address data-related issues to confirm effective solutions.
β’ Collaborate with teams to analyze root causes and ensure sustainability of fixes.
β’ Assess data-related risks and evaluate associated controls for effectiveness.
β’ Support risk assessments and control testing activities as needed.
β’ Calculate and review key data risk and control metrics for accuracy.
Skills
β’ Minimum of 8 years of experience in data management, technology risk, or cyber risk management.
β’ Proven experience in data governance or second-line risk functions within financial services.
β’ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Preferred Skills
β’ Familiarity with the Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM) framework.
β’ Certifications such as DCAM, CISSP, CISA, or CRISC.
β’ Experience working with mid to large-sized financial institutions.
β’ Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
