Role description
Job Title: Data Management & Quantitative Analysis IV
Pay rate: $90 - $92.60/Hourly
Work Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15219
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Roles & Responsibilities:
β’ Establish partnerships with source system data owners to understand and document requirements related to the use and gain an understanding of the data, including scope of data, limitations, attribute definitions, and linkages to other datasets.
β’ Strong Data Management and Metadata Analysis skills.
β’ Analyze, query and manipulate data according to defined business rules and procedures
β’ Performs root cause analysis for data errors; research and find scope and complexity of issues, interpret findings, and identify steps for remediation.
β’ Prepares ad-hoc reports at the request of managers and/or other leaders.
β’ Primarily responsible for the accuracy and quality of own work. Ensure accurate research carried out on queries and subsequent responses prior to submission to relevant parties.
β’ Working in a stringent deadline driven environment with the ability to manage pressure and changing work environment Professional and timely handling of all enquiries.
β’ Experience with, and understanding of, implementing and measuring Data Quality and Controls.
β’ Determine business impact level for data quality issues.
β’ Ensure adherence to data quality standards.
β’ Determine root cause for data quality errors and make recommendations for long-term solutions.
To be successful in this role, weβre seeking the following:
β’ Experience with, and understanding of, implementing and measuring Data Quality and Controls.
β’ Oral and written communication skills and the ability to understand compliance policies and process assigned tasks in accordance with procedures.
β’ Strong Data Management and Metadata Analysis experience and skills.
β’ Ability to learn company Data Management policies and ensures that procedures align.
β’ Strong organization, documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
β’ Bachelorβs degree within Finance/Accounting preferred. However, we are open to see applications from other studies as we provide an extensive training.
β’ Banking, product/financial services and/or auditing or compliance experience preferred.
β’ Knowledge of the structuring of data environments and applications that use big data processes is a preferred.
β’ Strong knowledge of Excel
β’ Experience with issue management systems
β’ Familiarity with logical and conceptual data model is a plus
