Job Title: Senior Data Engineer / Manager – Data Engineering (CDP)
Location: Katy, TX
Work Model: Onsite 4 days per week
Duration: Initial 3-month contract (project expected to extend through 2026)

Job Summary
Must-Have Experience
• Hands-on experience with MarTech platforms and at least one Customer Data Platform (CDP):
• Adobe Real-Time CDP
• Salesforce Data Cloud
• Treasure Data
• Tealium
• Twilio Segment
• Amperity
• Strong background in Retail / MarTech environments
• Experience operating at a Manager / Lead Data Engineer level
Technical Leadership & Architecture
• Own the end-to-end CDP architecture, with a primary focus on customer unification and identity resolution
• Define and govern identity resolution frameworks, including deterministic and probabilistic matching
• Design and maintain enterprise-scale identity graphs and golden customer records
• Establish best practices for:
• Data modeling
• Ingestion and transformation
• Customer unification on BigQuery
• Lead architectural decisions for batch and near real-time data pipelines
Delivery & Execution
• Lead development of scalable, high-performance data pipelines using BigQuery and GCP services
• Ensure data quality, consistency, lineage, and observability across customer datasets
• Optimize BigQuery performance and cost efficiency
• Oversee integrations with:
• Marketing platforms
• Analytics tools
• Activation and engagement channels
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
• Partner with Marketing, Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into CDP solutions
• Act as a technical mentor and reviewer for data engineering and CDP team members
• Drive alignment on customer identity standards across platforms
• Provide technical guidance on CDP roadmap, enhancements, and platform evolution
Governance & Compliance
• Define and enforce data governance, privacy, and consent management standards
• Ensure compliant handling of PII and adherence to regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
• Establish strong documentation and knowledge-sharing practices for identity logic and data flows
