Senior Data Modeler – OLTP Enterprise Applications Location: Remote (initial 3 weeks in Orlando, FL for requirement gathering and then as needed) Prefer - someone is local in Orlando, FL Duration: 6 months Contract We are seeking a Senior Data Modeler with strong experience designing and maintaining data models for large-scale OLTP enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support high-volume transactional systems. Responsibilities • Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models. • Translate business requirements into scalable database designs. • Define entities, relationships, keys, constraints, and data standards. • Collaborate with architects, developers, DBAs, and business stakeholders. • Ensure data integrity, performance, and adherence to enterprise standards. • Support data governance, metadata management, and data quality initiatives. Required Qualifications • 10+ years of Data Modeling experience. • Strong experience with OLTP/transactional systems. • Expertise in ER Modeling, Normalization, and Relational Database Design. • Hands-on experience with ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner. • Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
