Job Title: Senior Data Modeler Type: Contract (W2) Location: San Diego, CA – Onsite Domain: Insurance Summary: Seeking a Senior Data Modeler with strong insurance domain expertise to design and govern enterprise data models supporting policy, claims, underwriting, billing, analytics, and regulatory reporting. Key Requirements: • 10+ years overall IT experience, including 3+ years supporting US insurance markets • Strong expertise in data modeling (ER, relational, dimensional / star schema) • Hands-on experience with ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar tools • Deep knowledge of insurance domains: Policy, Claims, Underwriting, Billing • Experience supporting data warehouse, BI, and analytics initiatives • Strong SQL and relational database experience • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Nice to Have: • Life, P&C, or Health Insurance experience • Exposure to regulatory/statutory reporting and Data Governance • Cloud data platform experience (Snowflake/Azure/AWS – preferred)
