Summary
Join a high-impact Analytics Center of Excellence team focused on building scalable, production-ready AI solutions. This role is responsible for designing and deploying end-to-end backend systems that enable AI/ML use cases, leveraging modern AWS cloud services. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex business needs into secure, scalable, and maintainable applications supporting intelligent automation and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend solutions supporting AI, machine learning, and automation use cases
• Build cloud-native and serverless applications using AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Neptune, Bedrock, and SageMaker
• Develop APIs and integration components to enable AI-driven workflows in production environments
• Create scalable data processing pipelines and application logic for model inference, search, retrieval, and analytics
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define technical requirements and solution architecture
• Implement monitoring, logging, testing, and deployment strategies to ensure system reliability and performance
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Support secure development practices and ensure compliance with cloud security standards
• Document system architecture, technical designs, and operational procedures
• Participate in code reviews and team knowledge-sharing initiatives
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, data science, or machine learning engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend development
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Neptune, Bedrock, SageMaker)
• Experience building and deploying production applications in cloud environments
• Solid understanding of APIs, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize performance, and support production systems
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in a related field
• Experience supporting AI/ML or intelligent automation solutions
• Knowledge of cloud security, reliability, and performance best practices
• Experience with large-scale data processing and model deployment workflows
