Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced causal Marketing Mix Models (MMM).These models are crucial for guiding client's quarterly and yearly marketing budget decisions and generating insights that drive business growth. The primary goal of this role will be to build foundationally solid models that can be refreshed frequently in the production environment. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytics, marketing execution, and engineering.
Responsibilities:
What you'll do:
β’ Develop both descriptive and predictive MMMs that accurately measure the incremental impact of marketing and non-marketing drivers
β’ Expand our modeling solutions to support a growing number of geographic locations and product groups
β’ Integrate additional measurement methodologies and data to ensure accurate measurement of marketing return on investment
β’ Balance technical capabilities with practical business needs
β’ Measure both short- and long-term impact of marketing to guide budget allocation across funnel stages to drive sustainable business growth
β’ Communicate model results effectively to partners and executives
β’ Continuously improve modeling techniques and capabilities as the analytical landscape evolves
β’ Contribute to the overall growth of the team!
Requirements:
β’ MS/PhD in Economics, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
β’ 5-10 years of experience in developing and operationalizing MMM and marketing science solutions
β’ Strong technical expertise in MMM and ML algorithms, with the ability to connect model insights to business outcomes
β’ Experience with experimentation/causal inference methods
β’ Experience in deploying models from development to production environments
β’ Proficiency in ML programming languages like Python, R, etc. and data querying languages (e.g. SQL)
β’ Experience with cloud platforms for scalable model training and deployment
β’ Ability to balance practical business needs with technical possibilities
β’ Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical terms to business stakeholders
