Sr. Data Scientist
Miami, FL (4 days onsite/1 day remote)
6-Month CTH on W2
Position Summary
Our enterprise cruise line client is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their growing team. The Senior Data Scientist role is a hands-on technical leader responsible for driving advanced analytics initiatives, mentoring team members, and introducing modern data capabilities (especially around ETL and Databricks).
What Youβll Do
β’ Lead complex, high-impact analytics and data initiatives
β’ Serve as technical expert across modeling, data, and systems
β’ Mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts (while remaining hands-on ~75%)
β’ Design and improve data pipelines and workflows (ETL)
β’ Introduce and scale modern tools (e.g., Databricks)
β’ Partner closely with adjacent teams (e.g., pricing/automation teams)
β’ Help shape the future-state data architecture and workflows
What Weβre Looking For
β’ 6+ years of experience in data science / analytics / data engineering hybrid roles
β’ Strong SQL + predictive modeling foundation
β’ Experience with:
β’ ETL pipelines
β’ Databricks (or similar modern data platforms)
β’ Proven ability to mentor others and elevate team capabilities
β’ Strong business acumen + stakeholder management
