Sr. Data Scientist Miami, FL (4 days onsite/1 day remote) 6-Month CTH on W2 Position Summary Our enterprise cruise line client is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their growing team. The Senior Data Scientist role is a hands-on technical leader responsible for driving advanced analytics initiatives, mentoring team members, and introducing modern data capabilities (especially around ETL and Databricks). What You’ll Do • Lead complex, high-impact analytics and data initiatives • Serve as technical expert across modeling, data, and systems • Mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts (while remaining hands-on ~75%) • Design and improve data pipelines and workflows (ETL) • Introduce and scale modern tools (e.g., Databricks) • Partner closely with adjacent teams (e.g., pricing/automation teams) • Help shape the future-state data architecture and workflows What We’re Looking For • 6+ years of experience in data science / analytics / data engineering hybrid roles • Strong SQL + predictive modeling foundation • Experience with: • ETL pipelines • Databricks (or similar modern data platforms) • Proven ability to mentor others and elevate team capabilities • Strong business acumen + stakeholder management Disclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
