The client is deeply invested in Palantir Foundry and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), building production-grade GenAI solutions tightly integrated with enterprise data pipelines and operational workflows. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused environment—no POCs, no research-only work. THE SENIOR GENERATIVE AI ENGINEER ROLE As a Senior Generative AI Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on leadership role designing, building, and deploying enterprise-grade GenAI and machine learning solutions on the Palantir Foundry and AIP platforms. This role combines GenAI engineering, data engineering, and applied machine learning, with strong expectations around Palantir-native development. You’ll lead a small technical team while working closely with client stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance AI-driven products. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions using Palantir Foundry and AIP • Build and maintain data pipelines using Palantir Data Engineering features, including: • Code Repositories • Code Workbooks • Pipeline Builder • AIP / OSDK • Design, develop, and optimize large-scale data pipelines using PySpark and Spark SQL • Implement end-to-end code build, testing, and deployment within Palantir Foundry • Develop and deploy ML and GenAI models using Python and modern ML libraries • Select appropriate algorithms and model architectures based on data characteristics and business needs • Perform feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model validation • Integrate GenAI and ML models with APIs and downstream applications • Lead and manage a team of 2–3 technical associates with strong PySpark skills • Mentor team members and support onboarding to new tools and technologies • Work closely with client technical teams in an Agile delivery environment • Translate business requirements into scalable solutions on the Palantir platform ESSENTIAL SKILLS • 4–7+ years of hands-on experience in Generative AI Engineering • Strong experience using TypeScript for GenAI and platform development • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP (mandatory) • Strong experience with Palantir Data Engineering tooling: • Code Repo, Code Workbook, Pipeline Builder, AIP / OSDK • Advanced experience with PySpark and Spark SQL • Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) • Experience building, deploying, and maintaining ML/GenAI models in production • Strong understanding of ML model lifecycle and performance optimization • Experience working in Agile delivery environments • Strong experience with Git and collaborative development workflows DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE • API development and integration experience • Basic front-end knowledge (e.g. React.js) • Experience building LLM-based solutions, prompt engineering, and embeddings • Experience in enterprise or regulated environments • Prior experience in a technical lead or senior engineering contract role TO BE CONSIDERED: Please either apply through this advert or email me directly via james.roberts@searchability.com.
