Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our AI Center of Excellence (AI COE) team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who thrive on solving challenging problems, driving innovation, and developing cutting-edge AI/ML solutions that deliver tangible business impact.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of scientists, researchers, and engineers working together to build and deploy intelligent systems that enhance customer experience, drive revenue growth, and deliver advanced insights across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research, prototype, and develop AI/ML models for personalization and optimization.
• Build, deploy, and monitor scalable machine learning solutions in production environments.
• Conduct statistical experiments and performance evaluations to assess model accuracy and impact.
• Analyze and segment customer data, uncover trends and behavior patterns to inform strategic decisions.
• Design and execute solutions that combine structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of new technologies, frameworks, and tools in data science and AI.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership on complex tasks and projects.
• Ensure high standards of software quality, reliability, and performance in all deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in statistical data science, feature engineering, and customer segmentation.
• Proficient in SQL, PySpark, and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong experience with training, validating, and deploying ML models in real-world environments.
• Experience in deploying ML solutions in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiar with containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate data science efforts on cross-functional projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Preferred/Bonus Skills:
• Hands-on experience with the Databricks platform.
• Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Exposure to MLOps tools and practices for automating the ML lifecycle.
