Job Title: Senior Data Scientist – AI & Advanced Analytics

• Job Description:
The data analytics and reporting team within IT is looking for a seasoned Data Scientist to build operational dashboards well integrated with AI capabilities and metrics reporting for a broad group of cross functional stakeholders within Sales, Accounting, Sourcing, Finance, IT and Security.
What you'll do:
• Partner with business stakeholders and technical team to design and develop efficient visualization and reporting solutions.
• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to enhance AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to optimize AI models and improve performance
• Research and implement cutting-edge AI technologies and frameworks.
• Work on gathering business requirements, design and develop visualizations/reports, perform user acceptance testing with end users and deployment.
• Develop statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics solutions to address business challenges
• Collaborate with data engineers to establish end-to-end data and information delivery architecture
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex and unstructured data
• Ensure the Tableau infrastructure conforms to security standards and that appropriate access controls are in place.
• Work on tuning and performance improvement of Tableau reports and dashboards.
• Understand different datasets and perform ETL to prepare data for efficient Tableau consumption.
What we're looking for:
• 8 - 10 years experience in business intelligence role, including data warehousing, business intelligence, data visualization tools, techniques and technology, real time AI implementations
• Extensive knowledge of data warehouse, modelling and data mart concepts, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Experience in working with large datasets and data preprocessing techniques
• Extensive experience with Tableau set of tools.
• Excellent visualization skills and be able to convey customer data in an intuitive and visually compelling way.
• Intimately familiar with best practices around data visualization.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience working with Snowflake, Hive, SparkSQL
