Role description
Senior Data Scientist
Location: Hybrid in IL Local candidates or within commutable distance who are willing to travel and relocate if needed by client)
Type: Contract-to-Hire 6- 12 months

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in Data Science, with a focus on Manufacturing or OEM environments.
• Proven experience in building and deploying production-grade ML models (e.g., predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, supply chain optimization).
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, with hands-on experience using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience handling large-scale structured and unstructured data using platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with both customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements and project delivery.
