Role description
Senior Data Scientist
Location: Hybrid in IL Local candidates or within commutable distance who are willing to travel and relocate if needed by client)
Type: Contract-to-Hire 6- 12 months

Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
β’ 7+ years of experience in Data Science, with a focus on Manufacturing or OEM environments.
β’ Proven experience in building and deploying production-grade ML models (e.g., predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, supply chain optimization).
β’ Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, with hands-on experience using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
β’ Experience handling large-scale structured and unstructured data using platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, or Snowflake.
β’ Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with both customers and internal teams.
β’ Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements and project delivery.
