Primary Skills: Data Analytics (Expert), ML Infrastructure (Proficient), Metrics Evaluation (Intermediate), SQL/Python (Advanced), Dashboard Creation (Proficient) Contract Type:  W2 Duration:  12+ Months with possible extension Location: Remote Pay Range: $75 - $80 per hour on W2 Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced data scientist to join our Fraud & Safety Organization (FSO) Advanced Analytics team, focused on protecting trust across our platform. This role involves partnering with stakeholders across product, engineering, and operations to develop systems that prevent fraud and ensure a safe user experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate will leverage our rich data and machine learning infrastructure to deliver insights, influence strategy, and drive data-informed product development for our defense platform. Key Responsibilities: • Lead data-driven strategy and decision-making for the FSO Defense Platform. • Develop insights and reporting tools to detect and mitigate fraud effectively and at scale. • Define and evaluate key performance metrics, including the performance of ML models. • Guide experimentation, causal inference, and measurement strategy to strengthen product defenses. • Craft insightful dashboards for stakeholders, facilitating critical program management and decision support. Must-Have Skills: • Proficiency in data analysis and machine learning infrastructure. • Strong capability in fraud detection techniques and metrics evaluation. • Experience in dashboard creation and data visualization. • Strong in experimentation design Experience. • Strong experience with SQL, Python, ETL Pipelines, A/B Testing Industry Experience Required: • Prior experience in fraud detection, trust, safety, or a related field in the tech industry is highly preferred.
