Role description
Role: Senior Data Scientist Location: Juno Beach, FL Duration: 12 Months Contract Job Summary • We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist Geospatial to lead the development of advanced GIS, spatial analytics, and data science solutions supporting enterprise business and operational needs. Key Responsibilities • Develop scalable geospatial analytics, models, GIS tools, and spatial data products. • Build and manage spatial data pipelines, APIs, automation, and geoprocessing workflows. • Design enterprise GIS solutions and integrate GIS with cloud, data platforms, and AI services. • Develop production-grade GIS applications, dashboards, and analytical tools. • Partner with GIS teams, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders. • Establish technical standards and mentor junior data scientists. Required/Preferred Skills • 6 8+ years of Data Science experience with recent GIS/Geospatial experience. • Strong Python and spatial analytics experience. • Hands-on Esri/ArcGIS experience, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcPy, and ArcGIS API for Python. • Experience with ArcGIS REST APIs, Maps SDKs, geoprocessing tools, Python toolboxes, and web mapping applications. • Experience building production-grade analytical applications and spatial workflows. • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, data pipelines, and enterprise data integration. • Advanced degree preferred.
