Role description
We are looking for a Data Scientist / ML Engineer with active clearance (Secret minimum, TS/SCI preferred). The role supports a federal program working with petabyte-scale SIGINT data.
Core Focus:
• Ingest parquet files into HDFS
• Build external tables in Greenplum
• Use Greenplum ML (GPML) or other ML frameworks to train models
• Output categorized case results for analyst prioritization
Must-Have Skills:
• Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance
• Data science / machine learning (Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
• Big data engineering (HDFS, parquet, distributed ingestion)
• SQL / Greenplum / PostgreSQL at scale
Nice-to-Have:
• SIGINT / defense data experience
• Feature engineering, classification models, clustering, anomaly detection
• Familiarity with DoD/IC mission environments
