Senior Data Scientist - Local Only

Senior Data Scientist Location: Woodlawn, MD - Only Local Candidate- No relocation Allowed On-site: 5 days/week Local candidates only Rate: DOE Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Required Qualifications: • Master’s + 10 years, Bachelor’s + 12 years, or 18 years of experience in lieu of degree. • Strong experience with Python, NLP, SQL, Pandas, NLTK, and spaCy. • Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs. • Experience building, training, optimizing, and deploying ML/NLP models and pipelines. • Strong knowledge of AWS, PyTorch/TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Git, and data engineering tools such as Spark/Airflow. • Experience with large-scale data analysis, statistical modeling, and real-world data processing. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Federal/state government IT experience preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and deploy scalable NLP, ML, and Generative AI/LLM solutions. • Build Python-based data and ML pipelines. • Analyze large datasets and identify trends and insights. • Train and optimize NLP/LLM models. • Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to solve complex data challenges. • Support MLOps/LLMOps and cloud-native solutions.
