Lead / Senior Data Scientist – Hybrid (SoHo, NYC) Location: Hybrid – preference for candidates able to work from SoHo office. Work Authorization: Due to contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders. About the Role We are seeking a Lead / Senior Data Scientist to join our client’s growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will not only build and deploy advanced data solutions but also mentor and guide a small (but expanding) team of Data Scientists. What You’ll Do • Lead and mentor a team of Data Scientists while remaining hands-on with projects. • Design, build, and deploy scalable data models and solutions. • Apply cutting-edge LLM (Large Language Model) techniques to real-world problems. • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable data strategies. • Communicate insights clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences. What We’re Looking For • Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Data Scientist, with leadership or mentoring responsibilities. • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. • Hands-on experience with LLMs (Large Language Models). • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of delivering measurable business impact. • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required due to contract compliance.
