Role description
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in Python, R, Azure, Machine Learning, and Databricks to design, develop, and deploy scalable data science and AI solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with data engineers, software engineers, and business stakeholders to build reusable machine learning models, generate actionable insights, and solve complex business problems using advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, train, validate, and deploy machine learning and statistical models for business use cases.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and model optimization.
• Build scalable and reusable data science solutions using Python, R, and Azure Databricks.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to develop robust data pipelines and model deployment workflows.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets to extract meaningful insights.
• Design experiments, evaluate model performance, and continuously improve model accuracy.
• Deploy and monitor ML models in Azure cloud environments.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Ensure best practices in model governance, documentation, and code quality.
Required Skills
• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Strong programming experience in Python and R.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services.
• Expertise in Azure Databricks for data processing and model development.
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Experience with data visualization and exploratory data analysis.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Knowledge of model deployment, monitoring, and MLOps concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Spark, or PySpark.
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native ML solutions.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Azure or Databricks certifications are a plus.
