Job Title: Senior Data Scientist / Product (Amplitude / Mixpanel) – Insurance & Analytics Location: Remote (UK) with occasional travel to London Contract: 6 months (via Umbrella) 📌 Job Summary We are seeking strong experience in product analytics, machine learning, and behavioural data modelling. The role sits within a high-impact analytics function supporting insurance, pensions, and employee benefits domains. You will work closely with product and business teams to deliver actionable insights using tools such as Amplitude and/or Mixpanel, along with advanced statistical modelling and predictive analytics. 🛠 Key Responsibilities • Build and deploy machine learning and predictive models to support business decision-making • Analyse large-scale behavioural and product datasets using SQL and Python/R • Work with product analytics tools such as Amplitude and/or Mixpanel • Develop dashboards and insights using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) • Collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering, and business teams • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights 🧩 Required Skills & Experience • Strong experience in Data Science, Analytics, or similar roles • Advanced SQL skills with large and complex datasets • Proficiency in Python or R • Hands-on experience with Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar product analytics tools • Strong understanding of machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modelling • Experience in insurance, fintech, pensions, or financial services preferred • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker ⭐ Nice to Have • Experience in consulting or client-facing analytics roles • Experience working in large-scale enterprise data environments • Knowledge of experimentation / A/B testing frameworks If you’re passionate about data science and product analytics, we’d love to hear from you.
